Job Summary: 

As a Solution Architect for Revenue Accounting and Reporting in SAP, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions within SAP that drive revenue accounting, compliance, and financial reporting in the telecommunications industry. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure systems are aligned with business goals, accounting standards, and telecom industry requirements. This position involves defining the architecture, guiding the integration of SAP with other platforms, and ensuring data integrity and transparency for financial reporting. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions for revenue accounting and reporting, ensuring alignment with telecom industry standards and regulatory requirements (ASC 606, IFRS 15). 
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to define system requirements and implement best-in-class accounting solutions. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module, including integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, BRIM). 
  • Architect scalable solutions that support end-to-end revenue management, from contract inception to revenue recognition and financial reporting.

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Industry Expertise: Experience within telecommunications and familiarity with subscription-based and consumption-based revenue models.

  • Conduct system testing for intercompany configurations and ensure accuracy during integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production. 
  1. Documentation and Compliance
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for intercompany processes, configurations, and customizations, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards (IFRS, GAAP). 
  • Support audit requirements by documenting intercompany transaction processes, reconciliations, and controls to maintain compliance. 
  1. User Training and Support
  • Provide training to finance teams on intercompany processes, ensuring users are well-versed in SAP FICO intercompany workflows and best practices. 
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and quick-reference documents to support end-users in daily intercompany transactions. 
  1. Continuous Improvement and Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate intercompany processes, improving efficiency and data accuracy across reporting cycles. 
  • Stay updated on SAP’s latest FICO features, updates, and industry trends related to intercompany transactions and integration. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • Experience: 
  • 10+ years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant, with a focus on intercompany processes. 
  • Proven experience in intercompany billing, reconciliation, and eliminations within SAP FICO. 
  • Strong background in configuring SAP FICO modules, with a particular emphasis on intercompany financial accounting and controlling functions. 

Skills:
